Aaron Mullane (Australian) holds a Bachelor in Information Systems with Honours in Interaction Design (IxD) from The University of Melbourne, Australia. He has published several short papers in IXD before gaining professional experience in various IxD based projects using various evaluation methodologies on large scale sites and system applications. Prior to departing Australia, Aaron was a senior consultant with several years experience in the Management Consultancy industry with a skill-set in: business analyst; process reengineering; project and strategic management. He has worked on numerous engagements in a number of industries including retail, banking & finance and information & communication technologies (ICT).
Aaron’s motivation to attend the IDM program was fuelled by his desires to be part of future research and enhancements in the IxD domain. Focusing on human needs and exploring new and exciting methods and technologies that enable the design and research of form, interaction in everyday products and services, is exciting. The IDM program at K3 fulfilled all pre-requisites in his quest for a program that fits the level of education and direction required for his desires; conceptual hands-on project work in current areas of IxD with stakeholders, physical prototyping, diverse international classmates, and influence on design thinking.
